Health and Safety Overview
The Southeastern Michigan Chapter of the American Red Cross is the area’s primary source for crisis prevention, preparation and response education. We offer a variety of health and safety courses that save lives or address a community need. Courses are offered in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb Counties. The Red Cross also offers on-site training at the workplace to enhance job skills.
Health Care Training
The Southeastern Michigan Chapter of the American Red Cross provides important health care training programs to the community. Aquatics
The American Red Cross is a leader in aquatic safety. Through authorized providers throughout southeast Michigan, more than 117,000 people have been Red Cross-trained in water safety including lifeguard and learn-to-swim courses. In a state that has the largest concentration of fresh water coastline, the Red Cross helps ensure the safety of people in and around Michigan lakes. Aquatics
First Aid/CPR/AED
The Southeastern Michigan Chapter of the American Red Cross is the primary source of crisis prevention, preparedness and response education in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties. We offer a wide range of First Aid, CPR and Automated External Defibrillation (AED) courses to meet your needs and to help save a life. Most courses are offered at six Red Cross offices in the tri-counties as well as instructors can come to your organization and teach onsite. First Aid/AED/CPR
For Purchase
Safety products which aid families and businesses to prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies are available for purchase. Products include Automated External Defibrillators (AED), first aid kits, disaster supply starter kits and safety training equipment.
